Community service has been a cornerstone of my personal growth and a reflection of my values. From volunteering at local food banks to assisting with neighborhood clean-up initiatives, I’ve found deep fulfillment in contributing to causes that bring people together and uplift those in need. One of the most impactful experiences for me was tutoring underserved students in math and reading. Watching their confidence grow reminded me that small, consistent acts of service can lead to profound change. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a stronger sense of empathy, leadership, and civic responsibility. Community service has not only shaped how I view the world, but also how I see myself within it, not just as an individual, but as part of a larger, interconnected whole. Looking ahead, I aspire to integrate service into my professional life by working in a field that directly supports communities, such as education, public health, or nonprofit leadership. I hope to develop sustainable programs that empower others and create long-term impact. Service isn't just something I do, it's a part of who I am, and it will continue to guide my choices and goals well into the future.

Throughout high school,I’ve joined clubs in my High School career that I love AVID is one of these activities in which I am lucky to participate. In my senior year, I am currently holding the leadership role of a co-vice president for the organization. Being a part of Avid has influenced me to take charge of my life after high school. I have contributed many ideas to help students in the same predicament. I have given many ideas, for example, having as a college guest speaker speak to the students. As a senior, I understand the importance of community service, so I want to help provide opportunities for juniors, sophomores and first-year students. I've also contributed to tutoring the upcoming tutors so they can help the younger avid students effectively. Being a co-vice president at AVID, I've always had a passion for using my advantages to help others around me. And now I found a way to do that. This will help me make an impact both in and out of the classroom while enrolled at Baylor.I plan on majoring for neuroscience in Baylor than later plan on attending Medical School.

As an Eagle Scout this year I had my own service project with eight scouts to paint a church parking lot. This helped numerous people attending the church. I discovered my strengths and weaknesses. I learned how important delegating tasks and letting others take charge. I even go back to my anatomy teacher's class and help her with grading, cleaning, and teaching younger students. This experience taught me how much I love helping others and being around people. Beyond school, I've also volunteered at food drives and homeless shelters. It's a powerful feeling to know that you have made a difference in someone's life. I plan to take all the ethics and lessons I learned from volunteering to college. I'm driven to create software that can make people's lives easier. After college, I plan to become a software engineer that help people in their everyday lives. I'm also a content creator, and I use my skills to teach others. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve, and I hope to continue to do so in the future. I've seen the power of service firsthand, and I believe that it is the key to building stronger and more connected communities.
