Captain Jeffrey McFetridge USN (Ret) Scholarship
As environmental challenges continue to affect communities worldwide, it is more important than ever to support students who understand the importance of protecting the environment
From forest conservation to animal welfare and beyond, there are a myriad of fields that allow students to make a difference and be the change they want to see in the world. While many students have the drive necessary to succeed in their field, a lack of financial resources can easily stop a career before it begins.
This scholarship seeks to support students who are passionate about conservation and sustainability so they can afford to achieve their educational goals.
Any undergraduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they’re pursuing forestry, wildlife conservation, environmental sustainability, or animal welfare.
To apply, write an essay of 150 words telling us about your interest in your field of study, what led you to that field, and how you hope to make a difference with your degree.
Share more about your passion for sustainability, wildlife conservation, and/or forestry. What drew you to this field? How do you hope to make an impact with your degree?
