Virginia Douglas Memorial Scholarship Fund for Change

Five years ago, my 16 year old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 25 year old predator. We had to drive 90 miles one way for therapy weekly, due to the shortage of trauma informed therapists. Our foundation provides sexual violence prevention education for young people and would like to help other families experiencing this type of trauma to have access without excessive backlog. Our scholarship would assist students pursuing degrees in areas of social work and justice to assist survivors of sexual violence.
