Frein Charitable Family Scholarship Fund

The Frein Charitable Family Fund has been fighting student debt since January 2020, giving opportunities to students who are studying Classics or Greek/Latin. Ancient Greek and Latin language and literature form the underpinnings of much of Western Civilization. Despite this, students pursuing studies in the Classics today rarely get much support for their work. While Latin and Ancient Greek are today considered dead languages, the study of classic texts in their original languages teaches deep historical perspective. Therefore, the Frein Family has created this fund to help students who are studying in these fields.
