As an undergraduate myself at a liberal arts college, I took on almost-crippling personal debt that required a decade to pay back. I understand personally the challenges with our current system. Further, as an English and Classics double-major, I appreciate the intellectual utility of the work I did as a college student. However, it took me quite a few twists and turns to turn my study of Greek, Latin, and Shakespeare into a job that allows me ultimately to give back.
