Debra Victoria Scholarship Fund

This fund exists in memory of Debra Victoria Thomas-Banks and has been fighting student debt since March 2022. Debra Victoria was a single mother, who often worked eighty hours a week in order to fund her daughter’s education. Debra sadly passed away due to ovarian cancer in 2021, but her daughter is keeping her legacy alive by supporting students from single-parent homes. Since Debra was such a strong advocate of the importance of education and the opportunities it presented, this fund will give students from single-parent households the opportunity to pursue their career goals.

To financially help students from single-parent homes as they pursue professional development opportunities.
