Dear Thomas Banks, I truly appreciate being selected as a finalist for the Debra Victoria Scholarship. By being a winner, it definitely means that I can cut down the burden my tuition has on my family and focus on putting every ounce of effort into my aspirations but also means that people recognize the hard work and dedication I’m putting into my future. I feel validated as many deem my goals in life as worthwhile and valuable. It encourages me to keep going, to keep striving through trial and error, and improve on myself and my work in the present and in the future. Once again, thank you for choosing me as a finalist. It’s a big honor and means a lot to me.
