Our story
Sara Chaiton was an indomitable force - a survivor of the Holocaust, a plane crash, and 98 full, rich years of life. After her family's murders in Nazi Poland, she immigrated to Canada and went back to high school. This fund is set up to support resilient spirits like hers.
Our goal
To help fund the Sara Chaiton Scholarship for Resilient Women, a scholarship for female Jewish women who have displayed resilience in their educational journeys.
