Education can be a powerful tool for any student, providing a series of opportunities that can be life changing. However, many factors affect each student’s level of access to the world of academia. Underrepresented minorities, first-generation students, and learners from low-income backgrounds each face unique struggles when applying for, paying for, and succeeding in college. This scholarship aims to support young women as they prepare to finish their high school years and begin college.
