Dear McAuliffe family, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so beyond grateful to have received this scholarship. You have no idea how much of a blessing this is for me and I am truly so humbled. I promise to do great things, both in college and in the future, and I will honor your daughter Ryan’s memory through my efforts. Dear Mirna, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for selecting me as the recipient of the Ryan McAuliffe Memorial Award. It truly means so much to be recognized as I finish my high school journey and prepare to take the next steps toward college. Receiving this scholarship provides an incredible boost, both financially and emotionally. It eases some of the pressure as I work toward my dream of becoming a pastry chef and eventually opening my own business. Your support makes it possible for me to stay focused on honing my culinary skills, challenging myself in competitions, and pursuing new opportunities I’m also dedicated to growing as a student-athlete through my commitment to volleyball, and I hope to continue my journey playing recreationally and working my way towards being part of the team at Johnson and Wales University.
