Our story
My husband, Norman Brooks, did not excel in high school academics. He did excel in hands-on work and was a very hard worker. He proved that one could be successful with hard work and development of talents outside academic fields.
Our goal
I would like to offer an easy access scholarship to students that would like to go into a vocation including truck driving and other non-traditional fields to be included. Academic excellence is not a metric for inclusion.

Norm could be a little rough around the edges at times, but he had a heart of gold and it was always a pleasure to sit down and talk with him. The Class of ‘73 is thankful for all the organizing and hard work Norm and Amy put into our reunions, and he will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Amy and the family.
