Our story
The Liberation in Inquiry Collective is rooted in a shared commitment to reclaiming social justice through liberatory storytelling, reflection, and action. Together, Jane, Eva, and Tiye are weaving this vision into a scholarship initiative which directly supports students who are stepping into this work with courage and vision. By pairing digital storytelling with tangible investment in future change-makers, we are cultivating both the narrative and material foundations of liberation. We aim to honor the legacy of those who’ve made sacrifices so that women like us could do the important work of today.
Although we have very different approaches to liberation work, our unwavering commitment to our shared humanity is the same. We thank you for joining our community as we do our part to support the next generation of scholars seeking to secure their liberation through their education.
Our goal
Many people who believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion feel disheartened watching those values be dismissed or devalued in our current cultural and political landscape. This fund is a way to push back with action and intention.
The Liberation in Inquiry Social Justice Fund invites those who still believe in human dignity to contribute to something transformative. This fund is not politically partisan. It’s rooted in one essential truth: Everyone’s humanity deserves to be seen, honored, and respected. Our goal is to affirm and uplift those working to free themselves from historically oppressive systems, and in doing so, inspire others to do the same.

Empowering people to make the world better changes individuals , communities, and raises us all. It’s up to we, the people, to build a compassionate and equitable world. I’m honored to walk beside others who strive for freedom and justice.
