Our story
From the minute Ella was born, she rocked our world.
Ella was a girl with such a strong will and was the eternal competitor. From her toddler years of “I do it myself”, to working her tail off to graduate high school early, Ella did not stop competing. She was a talented musician, artist, and athlete with a heart bigger than anyone we know. She loved fiercely. She competed fiercely. She battled like hell through so many challenges thrown her way: depression, addiction, rehab, even a stroke at age 17. She was determined to be better and do better.
After high school graduation, Ella finished a year of community college and was excited to start classes at Georgia College and State University in the fall of 2024. She worked hard for sobriety and had wanted to help her friends and loved ones do the same.
Sadly, Ella never got to see the bright future she had envisioned. On July 10, 2024, Ella died in a car accident. Her story, her fighting spirit, and her determination to achieve should not stop here. In her honor, we are establishing “Ella’s Gift”, an annual scholarship for young women fighting for their own sobriety and bright future.
Our goal
Your generous donation will fund future scholarships for many more young women to achieve their educational goals and realize the amazing opportunities ahead of them. Thank you for being a part of their bright future!
