DOME Scholarship Fund

Einstein is often quoted as saying, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” By supporting future scholars, we affirm our belief that knowledge thrives when it is shared and cultivated across generations. Through this contribution, I hope to help remove barriers and ensure that the pursuit of advanced knowledge stays accessible and equitable for all.

Applying to PhD programs is a major commitment, requiring a significant amount of time, energy, and financial resources. This is particularly true for applicants from developing countries. I am pleased to support the DOME Scholarship Fund, which would help top talent from across the globe get access to resources that support their aspirations to join the ranks of future OM scholars.

Supporting and working with PhD students is one of my biggest joys of being a professor. The OM community is strong, supportive, and has critical projects that need addressing by future researchers. Best of luck to our future OM scholars!

Supporting the next generation of OM scholars is important for the continued vitality of our field. I am glad to contribute to initiatives that expand opportunities and help talented students see a future in OM research.

The word "Vidya" in the ancient Indian Sanskrit text refers to knowledge. So here we are today supporting the path to knowledge for the young minds of tomorrow via the DOME Scholarship initiative.
