Our goal
This fundraising campaign honors the memory of my husband, Dr. Hassan Homami, whose passion for education shaped every aspect of his life and work. He believed deeply in the importance of learning and sharing knowledge with young minds.
His passion for education inspired him to pursue a PhD, even while working full-time to support our family, battling cancer, and being a first-generation immigrant. Despite these challenges, he remained dedicated to his studies and to helping others learn.
Dr. Homami’s commitment to education led him to mentor interns. I am proud to have been his spouse during this difficult time, and I cherish the years we spent together. Through this scholarship, I hope to continue his legacy by supporting first-generation immigrants who are pursuing graduate studies in intelligent transportation systems, just as he would have wanted.
