The Zechariah Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in loving memory of our son, Zechariah Turner, whose life was tragically taken at just 16 years old by a drunk driver. Although his life was far too short, the love, kindness, dreams, and joy he brought into the lives of others will never be forgotten. Through this scholarship, we are committed to carrying his legacy forward by helping deserving young people pursue their education and create meaningful futures. Our mission is to transform unimaginable loss into a lasting legacy of hope and opportunity. By providing scholarships to young people who are striving to achieve their educational goals, we hope to give others the chance to pursue the dreams that our son never had the opportunity to fulfill. We also seek to honor his memory by raising awareness of the devastating consequences of impaired driving and encouraging individuals to make responsible choices that protect the lives of others. Every scholarship awarded in Zechariah’s honor represents a life touched, a dream supported, and a reminder that his life continues to make a difference. His life was taken, but his legacy will live on.
