This fund was started to honor the lives of the brilliant couple Rebecca and Richard Whiddon, who were taken far too soon on February 24, 2024. The funds will be used to sponsor students of all ages that are facing adversity in their lives, but are still working towards their dream of pursuing an education in the STEM field. Both Richard and Rebecca had a wide variety of incredible talents ranging from photography, to historical preservation, and all things STEM. Richard had impressive machining & design skills, and an endless & brilliant imagination when it came to creating new things. Rebecca was exceptionally gifted in the field of chemistry in which she had a PhD in, and also had a passion working on lithium-ion battery projects for the aerospace and defense industries.
