I’m so excited to have learned more about him through this scholarship. Your generosity lifts a huge burden from my shoulders as I pursue my civil engineering degree at Ohio State, allowing me to dedicate myself fully to my studies and my dream of making a positive impact. My passion for civil engineering is inspired by my experiences in the Congo, where my parents are from, and where I’ve seen the vital need for better infrastructure firsthand. I want to be a part of developing the world's infrastructure, especially back in Africa. Learning about Dr. Nnaji’s lifelong dedication to education, Nigerian pride, and empowering others is truly inspiring, and it motivates me to embody these same values as I move forward. Your family’s kindness has not only provided me with the opportunity to pursue higher education but has also ignited my passion to serve and uplift my community.
