My name is Mirajur Rahman. I was born in Bangladesh And moved to America when I was 7. In Bangladesh, my family and I faced many challenges. Coming to America afforded our family new opportunities. Through my pursuit of education in America, I was able to overcome obstacles set before me. As someone who has experienced poverty, I am inspired to financially help others by aiding in their pursuit of education and their dreams. The scholarships will be awarded to those who have overcome obstacles, are first-generation college students, and plan to pursue higher education.
