Being a Matthew E. Minor Awareness Foundation scholarship winner is a great honor. It represents not just financial support for my education but also recognition of my dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. This scholarship validates my passion for early and special education, reinforcing my commitment to helping children like my sister, who has autism and Down syndrome. It also reminds me that hard work, resilience, and compassion do not go unnoticed. Balancing my academics, leadership in band, work responsibilities, and volunteer efforts with such as the prom dress giveaway and helping those in need, has been challenging. Still, this scholarship shows that my efforts have made an impact.
