Dr. Matthew J. Kauffman was a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon who practiced in the greater Ohio area for over 20 years. As a doctor, father and member of the community, he touched the lives of thousands of patients and tens of thousands of families. His journey to becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon was non-traditional and he understood that for many aspiring medical students, funding that journey is challenging. His family's wish is to establish a memorial fund so that aspiring candidates from the state of Ohio who are seeking to make a living as a D.O. can obtain financial aid.
