My goal is to give away up to 20 scholarships in honor of my 20 year high school year reunion from Robert Service High School in Anchorage, Alaska. This school had amazing educators that were more than teachers but life-lines for me and the school always promoted college and/or post-secondary planning, which led to me gaining many scholarships to go to college for free. Now it has been 20 years since I graduated in 2006 and for my 38th birthday I want to have people help me pour back into the community that fueled my future, so they can continue to invest in future generations of scholars. My mission through this scholarship fund is to raise up to $20,000 to give 20 scholarships of $1,000 or close to it. The name of the scholarship will be the CHANGE OF HEART AWARD in honor of myself and favorite teacher Kelly Webster that worked with me in the Change of Heart Program at my high school and changed my heart to want to give and serve others as a life-long calling!
