As Hixson High School alumni and lifelong members of the Hixson community, our mission is to honor the memory of our beloved brother, Derek Chastain, by investing in the future of students who are ready to lead with purpose. Through this scholarship, we aim to support young adults who are committed to making thoughtful, intentional choices as they step into their next chapter—whether that’s college, trade school, or technical training. We believe education comes in many forms, and success isn’t one-size-fits-all. Our goal is to remove financial barriers for students who show resilience, character, and a desire to build a meaningful life.
