It is our wish to carry on the legacy of our late father, Everett J Collins Jr.’s passion for music and music education. Without the support of family and scholarships Everett wouldn’t have been able to attend LIU to study Music Composition/Education. He was a big believer in paying it forward especially when it came to learning and music. With this scholarship we hope to help aspiring music educators and or performers earn their degrees become creative contributors to the world.
