Mission

Our mission is to award hardworking, deserving students who plan to pursue a nursing career, in honor of my mom, Martha Galvez. She was a loving mother, wife, nurse advocate, and friend who left behind a legacy of compassion and strength. She worked as a registered nurse in Tri Cities, WA for 27 years and inspires many through her leadership and advocacy.

Dear Cassie, I want to express my sincere appreciation for being chosen as a recipient of the Martha Galvez Memorial Scholarship. It means so much to me to be selected for this honor, and I'm genuinely touched by your trust in my journey. Receiving this scholarship has eased the financial challenges of pursuing my nursing education, giving me greater freedom to focus on my coursework and hands-on training. Your support plays a critical role in making my dreams of a healthcare career a reality. My passion for biology and my experience as a CNA have inspired me to pursue nursing, where I hope to bring comfort and care to those in need. Learning about Martha Galvez's tremendous impact as a nurse and advocate motivates me even more to carry forward her spirit of compassion and leadership in my own career. I'm honored to carry on Martha Galvez’s legacy through this scholarship. Your dedication to uplifting future nurses and honoring Martha's memory is truly inspiring. I hope to reflect her values in my work and contribute meaningfully to the healthcare community. Thank you for your generosity and for believing in my potential. I look forward to making a positive difference, just as Martha did. Thank you, Axel Davila
