I am a highschool senior who is also a dual enrollment student at my local junior college. My short-term goal is to transfer to a prestigious 4 year university after finishing highschool, because by that time, I will have hopefully completed my GE requirements and my major prerequisites for college. I am very drawn to being a change for others. After college, I hope to join the peace corps in order to gain experience outside of my comfort zone and to provide benefits such as clean water and higher education in third world countries. I hope to earn a masters degree, soon followed by a PhD in psychology and counseling. My long-term goal is to be a child therapist and to be a change that can help to reduce and eliminate generational trauma and abuse in families, particularly those of lower income. I aim to earn a PhD so that I can have the credentials to be a college/university professor in psychology.
