FinalistBio
My name is Yuliana Bonilla, I am Latin-American (Mexican and Salvadorian) and also first generation. My dream career is to be an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher. I am currently a senior at Unity Reed High School formerly known as Stonewall Jackson. Here I am enrolled in the Teachers for Tomorrow program which allowed me to participate in Educators Rising. Where I competed in the Spanish children's book category and won first place in Virginia. That qualified me to go to Nationals where I placed in the top ten for my category. Besides the program I am also part of some of my schools clubs (listed below). Aside from school I enjoy crocheting and playing the cello. I am part of the symphony at my church as well as serve in the youth section.
