I’m Yazmyn, a high school senior graduating in May 2026 with a passion for healthcare, leadership, and community service. I maintain a 3.50 unweighted GPA and a 3.93 weighted GPA while taking challenging courses like AP Biology, AP English, and a Practicum of Health Science. I plan to major in nursing and become a pediatric nurse, combining my love of science with caring for children and supporting families. Through volunteering and work, I’ve developed compassion, responsibility, and strong communication skills. Outside of academics, I’m a varsity drill team member, Varsity Social Representative, and Homecoming Queen. I also volunteer at hospice, gaining hands-on experience in caring for patients and supporting families. Dance and leadership roles have taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, earning awards like Dancer of the Year and multiple Division 1 TDEA assessments. I’m committed to making a meaningful impact in healthcare and using scholarships to fully pursue my education and career goals.
