Earning my degree in Criminal Justice will allow me to make a meaningful and lasting impact on my community by helping others, promoting justice, and serving as a positive role model. My long-term goal is to become a Federal Agent and eventually work for the CIA. Through these careers, I will have the opportunity to protect citizens, investigate criminal activity, and contribute to the safety and security of communities across the nation. With my degree, I plan to educate individuals, especially young people, about the consequences of crime and the importance of making positive life choices. Many youth face challenges that can lead them down the wrong path, and I want to be someone who can provide guidance, encouragement, and support. By speaking at schools, mentoring students, and participating in community outreach programs, I hope to inspire others to pursue their goals and avoid negative influences. In addition, I want to advocate for victims of crime and help ensure they receive the resources and support they need during difficult times. I am committed to pursuing higher education so I can gain the skills and understanding needed to make a positive impact in my community and within the criminal justice system. My first educational goal is to earn my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I chose these fields because they closely connect to my passion for law enforcement and understanding human behavior. Criminal Justice will provide me with knowledge about the legal system, law enforcement procedures, crime prevention, and public safety. Psychology will help me better understand how people think, behave, and respond to different situations. I believe these two areas of study will prepare me to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and approach situations with both professionalism and empathy. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I plan to continue my education at Florida A&M University to earn my master’s degree in Criminology. Pursuing a graduate degree will allow me to deepen my understanding of criminal behavior, crime patterns, rehabilitation, and investigative practices. I want to expand my knowledge so I can contribute meaningful solutions to issues affecting communities and law enforcement agencies. Continuing my education will also prepare me for leadership roles and advanced opportunities within federal law enforcement. My long-term educational goal is to attend Georgia State University and earn a doctoral degree. Achieving a doctorate would represent not only personal accomplishment, but also my dedication to lifelong learning and professional excellence. I believe earning an advanced degree will strengthen my ability to conduct research, analyze criminal behavior, and contribute to the development of better practices within the criminal justice field. It would also allow me to mentor and inspire others who are interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement and public service. Professionally, my goal is to become an agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. I am interested in investigative work because I want to help solve crimes, protect communities, and support victims. Working as a GBI agent would allow me to gain valuable investigative experience and strengthen my skills in communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking. I admire the dedication and professionalism required in law enforcement, and I am motivated to uphold those same standards throughout my career. After gaining experience with the GBI, my ultimate career goal is to become an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and work within the Behavioral Analysis Unit. I have always been fascinated by criminal behavior and the psychological aspects of investigations. Working in the Behavioral Analysis Unit would allow me to combine my interests in criminology and psychology while helping solve serious crimes and assist law enforcement agencies nationwide. I understand that this career path requires discipline, advanced education, strong ethics, and dedication, and I am fully committed to putting in the work necessary to achieve these goals. In addition to my educational and professional aspirations, I am deeply committed to civic and public service.
