This interest, combined with my desire to work in a dynamic and ever-evolving field, led me to choose Business/Sport Management as my career path. It allows me to merge my passion for sports with my interest in business, offering endless opportunities for growth and success.
From an early age, I was curious about how sports teams were run behind the scenes. I watched basketball games and thought about the strategies used by team managers, how sponsorship deals were made, and how teams coordinated events and marketing. I realized that sports organizations need more than just talented athletes—they need skilled professionals to manage the business side of things. This sparked my interest in pursuing a career in sports management, where I could contribute to the success of teams and sports events.

WinnerMaking a Positive Impact on My School and Community
Throughout my time in high school, I have actively sought out opportunities to contribute to both my school and the larger community, aiming to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. From tutoring younger students to working for a lawn care company and engaging in community service projects with my basketball team, I have consistently worked to positively impact those around me and contribute to the overall well-being of my school and community.
One of the most rewarding ways I have made a difference is by working as a tutor for elementary students at my school. Employed by the school, I assist younger students in their academic pursuits, offering extra help in subjects like math, reading, and science. By providing individualized attention, I am able to identify their specific challenges and help them improve in areas where they struggle. I take pride in seeing the progress they make, whether it's mastering a difficult concept or gaining more confidence in their abilities. The opportunity to tutor allows me to not only give back to my school but also develop my own skills in communication, patience, and leadership. It is incredibly fulfilling to witness these young students’ growth and know that I played a part in helping them succeed academically.
In addition to tutoring, I also gained valuable work experience by working for a local lawn care company. This job not only taught me the importance of hard work and responsibility but also helped me contribute to my community in a practical way. By maintaining lawns, trimming bushes, and ensuring that public spaces looked neat and well-kept, I helped enhance the aesthetics of the neighborhood and contributed to a cleaner, more welcoming environment for everyone. My work with the lawn care company also gave me a sense of responsibility and pride in my work, as I knew that the efforts I put in directly benefited the people in my community. Maintaining these green spaces created a sense of unity and pride, as well-kept public areas improve the overall quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
Another significant way I’ve positively impacted my community is through my involvement with the freshman basketball team. As part of the team, we actively participated in several community service projects, including cleaning up the community garden. This initiative was especially meaningful, as the garden serves as a shared space for local residents to grow plants, vegetables, and flowers. By participating in the clean-up, we helped maintain a space that fosters community engagement, beautifies the neighborhood, and promotes sustainable practices. Additionally, the basketball team’s involvement in these projects allowed us to work together toward a common goal while giving back to the people who support us. Our efforts created a stronger bond between the school and the surrounding community, fostering a sense of pride and collective responsibility.
Each of these experiences—tutoring, working in lawn care, and contributing to community service through my basketball team—has helped me understand the importance of giving back to both my school and my community. Whether it’s helping students succeed academically, ensuring that public spaces are clean and inviting, or participating in team-based volunteer work, I have always strived to make a positive impact. These experiences have not only shaped me into a more responsible and engaged individual but also reinforced my belief in the importance of working together for the greater good. As I continue to grow, I remain committed to finding new ways to contribute and make a lasting, positive impact on the world around me.
LeBron James Fan Scholarship
I grew with Bron as the star of the League he was the one my generation looked up to as the older generations of Jordan. I believe Brown is the greatest of all time because rings don’t define a player. If rings a player, the grace time would be Bill Russell all players that have 10+ rings don’t ring come from a team. We have to Look at personal accolades. LeBron is top 10 in almost every category in the NBA. Officially has the most points in NBA history, he is top five and assists top five in rebounds, he’s the only player in NBA history to have over 40 K points, 10K rebounds, and 10k assist. And people always say how Jordan has more MVPs if you look back every season, that Bron played and compare him to the MVP of that season he was either right next to them or robbed of the MVP compared by stats of that season. For example, both of Steve Nash’s MVPs arguably both belong to Bron The only MVP during LeBron’s time that I would say fair enough, they deserve it. Derrick Rose. He single-handedly pretty much defeated The Miami Heat with the big three of Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James. my final reason I believe LeBron is the greatest of all time is no one has done what he’s done he played for 21 years going onto 22 years in the NBA well still being considered a top five player in the league most players after year 15 fall off. And every other player in NBA history that has played 20 years or more has not averaged in double digits in points. LeBron is almost averaging a triple double well, still being the leader of his team. My final note just to throw in here. Is LeBron 2016 or 18 NBA finals in points assist rebounds blocks and assist. That’s never been done before. Jordan is known as the greatest of all time by many others yet on his bulls team Scottie Pippen was arguably better he led the team in assist rebounds blocks and steals. Well Jordan only lead in points while taking the most shots on the team.

This career represents the perfect fusion of my passion for sports, my interest in leadership, and my drive to excel in a business environment. Learner Math Lover Scholarship
Math has always been a subject that I truly enjoy because of its logical structure, problem-solving nature, and the sense of accomplishment it provides. One of the aspects I appreciate most about math is its predictability and consistency. Unlike some subjects where the answers can be subjective or dependent on varying interpretations, math has definite rules and solutions. Every equation or problem has a correct answer, and the process of getting there feels like a puzzle waiting to be solved. I love the challenge that comes with working through these problems step by step, knowing that the solution is out there if I approach it with the right mindset.
Additionally, math teaches me how to think critically and approach problems systematically. Whether it's algebra, geometry, calculus, or even more advanced topics, each branch of math requires a unique approach, but the underlying principle remains the same: finding the right solution through logical steps. This has helped me improve my analytical skills, as I can break down complex situations into simpler components, just like in a math problem. It’s also incredibly rewarding when I finally reach the solution after working through a difficult equation or concept.
Moreover, math is a universal language. It doesn’t matter where you are in the world; math concepts are the same. This global consistency makes it fascinating to me because it connects people across cultures and borders. I also see math in everyday life, from budgeting to measuring ingredients for cooking, which makes it practical and applicable to real-world situations. The ability to use math to solve everyday problems is something I find immensely satisfying.
Ultimately, math is more than just numbers and formulas for me. It's a way of thinking that allows me to approach challenges in a methodical and logical way, while also offering a sense of achievement. This combination of structure, problem-solving, and practical application makes math an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable subject.
