Upon graduating, my primary career goal is to build character and become an impactful professional in the medical industry. With a degree in Biomedical Engineering, I am eager to transition the enriched, knowledge of Bioengineering and utilize the utmost practical application to fulfill this career goal. Specifically, I'm yearning to become either a medical software engineer or a medical device engineer. My fascination with the mechanisms of medical devices has been the driving force behind my eagerness to work on medical devices, including medical software. Career-wise, I plan to secure a position that allows me to display my skills and enriched knowledge, effectively, in innovating and improving medical devices. In addition, I would prefer to work in a medical technology company that has been around for many years. The reason behind this is to embody a depth of knowledge from senior level professionals. Growing up, my parents have always preached to me to listen to my elders, because they have experienced life and are willing to coach you throughout life. Although my focus will intellectually challenge me, it will offer opportunities for improvement. I am interested in working on projects that improves patient care and the efficiency of medical procedures. During the early stages of my profession, I intend to immerse myself in professional development programs to build a foundation. Throughout my profession, I aspire to take on leadership roles and take initiatives in medical technology development. I am passionate about problem-solving and applying analytical skills. Especially as an Engineering student, it is vital to apply problem-solving and analytical skills. In fact, those two prominent skills support the notable "Engineering Design Process." In order to achieve my long term goal, I will have to pursue further education, such as an advanced degree or appropriate certifications, to enhance my experience and leadership skills. Also throughout my long-term, I have a strong philanthropic goal to innovate medical equipment and allow access for resources to uphold accessibility for low-income families. I envision creating an organization that facilitates the delivery of medicine for the specified targeted audience; in addition, all types of insurance or those with no insurance is acceptable. Furthermore, I would create an application and hand out resources on obtaining the application to these specified families so they're allowed to receive their medicine. With these aspirations, it will take a lot of networking, soft and hard skills to succeed in my aspirations.
