Bio

My name is Wyatt Daniel from Arkadelphia, AR. I’m seventeen years old and a part of the 2026 graduating class. Being a member of the community and my school, I’ve performed duties of leadership, as I am the 2025-2026 president of the Arkadelphia FFA chapter. As the president of the chapter, I have to work with the other officers to plan, lead, and execute projects in and out of the classroom. While being the president of my chapter, I also have a part-time job, am on the golf team, and am also on the wrestling team. Welding was first introduced to me in 2024 through FFA; since then, I’ve enjoyed learning new methods, perfecting techniques, and welding in general. Those are reasons why I would like to pursue a career in welding.

My name is Wyatt Daniel I’m from Arkadelphia, AR. I’m seventeen years old and a part of the 2026 graduating class. I’ve been a member of the Arkadelphia community my entire life. These last four years in high school I have been on the golf team, the wrestling team a member of the FFA where I have served as Secretary and currently serve as President. I’ve also held down a part time job working for a local automotive mechanic. I attend the Trinity Temple Assembly of God Youth Group where I'm in the band (play drums and guitar, also sing) and participate in their Fine Arts group. I've also been in involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at school. During my FFA classes is when I came to realize that I enjoyed welding and could make a career out of it. A few welding school representatives have come to our school and spoke with us about their experiences. I’ve toured the welding academy I plan to attend and feel this path is right for me. After I graduate in May I plan to work at the Clark County Assessor’s Office and save before entering the Arkansas Welding Academy in August. It’s a seven-month long program but I plan to do as much as I can to finish early. From there my goal is to be a traveling welder earning and experiencing the different aspects of the job. The academy will help place me with possible job locations after I receive my certification. My plan is to save enough money to eventually quit traveling and have my own business for me and my future family. I've used my creativity for the past 2 years by being in charge of the FFA float for my county fair and Christmas parades. I've come up with a theme, designed and aided in the construction of each one. I've built corn hole boards for different charity donations and auctions. We are currently working on deer stands to sell for other programs within our chapter. If asked, I would hope someone would say about me is that I follow the Lord. That I am a determined individual that follows through on my word and rarely second guesses my decisions. That I'm a great guy to be around and someone that will do good things in my life. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your consideration.

My hope is to one day own my own business. My older sister lives and works in Little Rock and has invited me to stay with her and share expenses while I attend AWA. While enrolled in this program, I will be limited in the number of hours and to evenings and weekends where I will be available for only part-time employment. Without financial assistance, I will not be able to afford the costs of the school while meeting my financial obligations regarding my living expenses.
