The meaning of life, is predestined by God at the time you were conceived. Everyday that you live here on earth is a journey. Part of the journey is sadness and joy but one you should fill with giving and determination. Be an Impact to all creatures and people one meets in this life. Cherish the earth and leave a lasting legacy to future generations.

The one thing I would do to improve the lives of elderly, is first let them know they matter. I had the wonderful experience, caring for my grandmother until her recent death several months ago. Services in the home need to be expanded. The services would allow the elderly to live in their home. I would create a network of people to meet their daily needs. The same team would provide, respite, medical,, community support and friendship. The team would spend several hours with each client. The service would also wrap around the person natural supports. If allowable the elderly could exchange services, such as fostering a relationship in a daycare. Becoming a mentor to the young . In return the relationship would foster, friendship, respect and empathy. More federal funds are needed to provide services for the elderly that have paved away for society now in charge. One day, those in charge will become old. Presently , to age for some is a vicious cycle, where as they are thrown away, tolerated and forgotten. I would and will improve the lives of the elderly. Just because, I am walking up the hill and they are walking down the hill, every life should matter.

The wisest thing I ever heard was at the age of 6 years old. It was my mother's mantra. " you have to have a dream, for a dream to come true." After that there were talks about one's dream and how to pull the dream down from the sky. Execute the dream and then make the steps as one walks there journey. Another wise saying I heard and live by: finish one's course and race. Walk your own journey, as everyone has a journey on this earth. So as I walk my journey and evolve I remember to stay on my course and walk my journey. Because when one has walked full circle, life will be over and completed on this earth. After death, your soul has a celebration n must walk the journey too.

The one thing that gives me hope is the kingdom of God. While I am here, I hope to be a better person. A person that can learn and spread my knowledge for life here and after. When I look at the discoveries, that have been made, I have hope that diseases will be eradicated. I look at the climate, and climate change, with the hope we as humans will acknowledge as a whole and wake up. I hope hunger will no longer exist. I know the world can produce enough food. And most of all I hope that one realizes the world does not belong to certain people. The world was made for all to enjoy. We must give of ourselves until death comes and we can give no more.

I came up with this piece due to having to do a assignment for my American Government class. I was tasked with writing a song that took the founding fathers interpretation, dreams and goals. This is my modern interpretation of the Founding fathers. But I must say music, is the window to our souls.
