My name is William Hickok. The challenges and experiences of my upbringing have helped shape my life. I learned the importance of education and service to others while being taught to never give up on any goal I set. I have set my sights on a career in medicine. I have been working towards my associate's degree to achieve my dream of becoming a doctor. My transcript includes completing 41 hours of college dual credit. This was done while actively participating in the Chaparral High School Band program and the National Honor Society. Additionally, I have participated in volunteer work through the National Honor Society and Student Council. Some of my volunteer work included helping with Wreaths Across America and the Doss Fire Department’s Annual Fish Fry. My work ethic, self-motivation, and genuine love for my country and its people make me an exceptional candidate for scholarships and a promising future in medicine or any other field in science or math.
