One of my main goals in life is to live in a world where I am confident that my kids and grandkids can enjoy their surroundings just like I did when I was young. I feel that the main way to protect our environment is to focus on conservation efforts and reduce the amount of pollution. I often go outside and try to pick up any trash I see and send emails to leaders in the school and government to urge them to focus more on cleanups and prevention of pollution. I also hope to become a marine ecologist and study how human impacts on the environment affect the oceans and I plan to research shark conservation because many of them are endangered. I hope that eventually, we will get to a point where kids will not live in constant fear of the irreversible impacts that some of our ancestors have left on the world.
