One movie that has had a big impact on my life is Fantastic Mr. Fox. At first, it just seems like a funny animated movie, but there is a lot more to it than that. I believe this movie shows how important it is to understand who you are, take risks, and grow from your mistakes. Even though it may not seem like a serious movie, it actually connects to real life in a lot of ways. The first reason Fantastic Mr. Fox stood out to me is because it shows what it looks like to struggle with who you really are. Mr. Fox tries to live a normal and safe life, but deep down, that is not who he is. He keeps trying to ignore it, but it keeps coming back. This relates to real life because a lot of people try to fit into what feels easy or expected instead of going after what they actually want. I have realized that you can only ignore who you are for so long before it starts to affect you. Mr. Fox eventually accepts who he is and learns how to use it in a better way, and that shows that being true to yourself is one of the most important things you can do. Another reason this movie impacted me is because it shows how mistakes are a part of growth. Mr. Fox makes a lot of bad decisions that put himself and others in danger. At first, it seems like everything is falling apart because of him. But instead of giving up or blaming others, he takes responsibility and works to fix what he messed up. That stood out to me because everyone makes mistakes, especially as we are growing up and figuring things out. What matters is how you respond to those mistakes. This movie shows that failure is not the end, but actually something that can help you become better if you learn from it. Additionally, Fantastic Mr. Fox shows what being a leader really looks like. Mr. Fox is not perfect, and he definitely does not always make the right choices. But when things get serious, he steps up and puts others before himself. He does what he can to help and protect the people around him. This made me realize that leadership is not about being perfect or always having the right answer. It is about being there when it matters, taking responsibility, and helping others even when it is not easy. That is something I want to continue to grow in as I move forward in school and in life. While some people may think Fantastic Mr. Fox is just a simple animated movie, I believe it has a lot of meaning behind it. It teaches lessons about being yourself, learning from your mistakes, and stepping up as a leader. These are all things that apply to real life and can help guide someone as they work toward their future. Overall, this movie impacted me because it showed that growth takes effort. You have to be willing to take risks, face challenges, and learn along the way. As I pursue higher education, I want to keep pushing myself to grow, stay true to who I am, and become someone who can make a positive impact on others.

Originally, I was not attracted to photography. If I had to say, it merely came to me. Christmas time came around, and I was given a new Canon Rebel T7, a very beginner camera. I was very excited to use it, and it was all I did the next few days, but after that, I basically didn't even bat an eye towards it until I joined a photography class my junior year of high school. Photography class wasn’t my first choice; it was more since the art class I wanted to be in was already full and I was being directed to one of my backup classes. Photography class opened my eyes through the months of being in it. I found a new mindset, and I grew more and more creative. Being given feedback from my teacher and classmates, it only made me want to be better. I pushed myself and found art everywhere I looked. Not only could I take a picture of something and hold on to it forever, but I am also able to put that image into multiple programs and customize them to my liking. I usually find it difficult to pick one exact customization, and I end up saving multiple versions of one image. The light that Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop shine on my already creative work is fascinating. It’s difficult to walk outside and not imagine how one view in my eyes would look on my camera and through a certain preset of edits.
