Bio
I’m a 16-year-old senior. I am known for my academic achievements and my hardworking and ambitious character. I love volunteering and helping around the community. I help my mother provide the homeless with food, clothing, and hope. Seeing them smile warms my heart. Making others happy is what I strive to do every day. This is why I want a career where I can give people hope and have a sense of accomplishment.
As people age, they look for products to look younger. They look for dermatologists to take care of their skin. That is who I want to be. I want to contribute to making people look and feel young again, and help the younger generation find products that keep them young. Not only does it suit my interests, but it’s also a fulfilling job where I can make someone happy. I believe I can make an impact in the medical community and an impact on the physical and mental well-being of many people.
Money should not be the reason I cannot pursue my passion. Success is setting goals tailored to one's potential ability but enjoying the process and learning from every experience. Appreciating the small victories throughout the journey to success is crucial. I’ve reached closer to my potential as an individual. My shy layers have peeled off and now I am bold, confident, and extroverted. I have grown academically as well. Every step I take today is a step forward, no matter how small. Every action I take today builds a better tomorrow. Consistency is key. Success is a journey. It is not a simple flight of stairs, but I’m taking steps toward success and my potential.

"Most Gen Z Human Alive" Scholarship
I highkey give the most Gen Z person alive and I am VERY proud to say that. Gen alpha gives me the ick and I would hate to be millenial core. My Spotify Wrapped shows over 100,000 minutes listened and show my hyperfixation to 3 songs (some trending and some underground). I eat either fast food or try Pinterest recipes and eat while watching something on Youtube or Netflix. My wardrobe is half comfy and half trendy because somedays going outside in sweatpants and a hoodie is okay. I love when I come home to rot by scrolling in my bed and munching. I love to play Roblox especially random obbies and Dress to Impress. I love scrolling on Shein and playing Block Blast. Rn I am in my productive era trying to apply for scholarships cuz I am lwk broke and scared of adulthood. That hood is very ghetto. I miss watching vine compilations and watching those top 10 water slide videos with the iconic music in the background such as the Coffin Dance song. Gen Z is actually top tier and these new gens and uncs could never understand the peak slang and memes from our era. "Slay" "poggers" "boi" "oof" "bet" "cap" "delulu" "periodt" "giving" and "tea" were popular until gen alpha absolutely sold w skibidi toilet. Gen Z is the most unserious generation and is all about living live fully while crashing out and having mental breakdowns every other day. Shows I grew up on that are unique to my generation are iCarly, Victorious, Phineas and Ferb, Good Luck Charlie, Fairly Odd Parents, Loud House, etc (i ran out of examples). Socializing in person is scary which is why phones are like my life support. tysm for reading my gen z core yap hehe
NYT Connections Fan Scholarship
brick | hen | pool | beet
keep | cherry | tix | book
night | head | pine | director
ruler | feed | leader | eraser
There are 4 categories in the typical New York Times Connections puzzle. You can only make three mistakes. After that, you lose for the day. When you assort 4 words into their intended category, they group into a row highlighted by a color. That color shows you the difficulty of the category. The colors of difficulty are yellow, green, blue, and purple, respectively. Yellow is the easiest.
These are the answers along with their appropriate color category.
brick, cherry, eraser, beet: the easiest group (yellow); RED. These are different shades of red items.
ruler, head, leader, director: 2nd easiest group (green); POWER. They're words for someone in charge.
book, keep, pool, feed: the 3rd easiest group (blue); VOWELS. These are words with double vowels.
pine, hen, night, tix: the hardest group (purple); NUMBERS. The words are numbers with the first letter replaced by another letter.
I have played Connections daily for about 3 months. It is super entertaining and helps me think outside of the box. I always revise my answers and look at the categories to help me become a better Connections player.
Sabrina Carpenter Superfan Scholarship
Sabrina Carpenter is super inspiring. She has released various albums showcasing her vocal talent and songwriting skills. Her lyrics resonate with a wide audience and are very catchy. They address themes of self-empowerment, love, and growth. Her chart-topping songs "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" are a couple of my favorites because of the catchy tune and impressive vocals.
I have been a fan of hers since the Disney Channel series "Girl Meets World" where she demonstrates her adept acting skills from a young age. Her performance in the show earned her a strong fan base, proving her versatility as an actress.
Sabrina is also recognized for her positive influence on her young audience. She often discusses self-confidence and mental health and emphasizes being true to oneself. This makes her a relatable and inspiring figure.
Not only that, but she is also super stylish and influences fashion. Sabrina influences young kids with her unique style and inspires her younger audience to be confident and unafraid to dress how they feel.
Overall, her multifaceted career has been super inspiring to me. Sabrina herself has led me to believe in myself more and recognize the world around me in more detail. Her music makes me feel good about myself. Her relatable lyrics help me feel a connection to her. Sabrina always manages to hype me on a bad day, and I cannot imagine how her music influences others as it does to me.
Redefining Victory Scholarship
In the words of Albert Schweitzer, "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." Not many people in today's society would consider themselves successful. Comparison is the thief of joy. Somebody would snarl that they lost only 5 pounds that month, while somebody else lost 20. Even though that person made progress, they used that comparison to diminish their success and become upset.
I believe that success is all about mindset. If one thinks they can be successful, they are already halfway to it. Success is about living a fulfilling life. It involves setting goals tailored to one's potential ability and reaching those goals but enjoying the process and learning from every experience. Success is making a positive impact on others and progressing as an individual. I believe appreciating the small victories throughout the journey to success is crucial. People should focus on their long-term goals but should not be distracted from the short-term goals they have reached throughout.
I am a rather positive and ambitious individual. My success involves reaching closer to my potential as an individual. I used to be timid and hesitant. As years have passed, my shy layers have slowly peeled off and now I am confident and extroverted. I have grown academically as well. I went from making low A's to high A's. I have learned to appreciate other subjects. I enjoy exploring new topics and have found a deep interest in psychology, philosophy, and dermatology. Psychology has taught me about happiness and success. It taught me that giving and helping others is good for everyone. Both the giver and receiver benefit. That is why I enjoy making others happy. Making somebody smile counts as a success in my book. A small act of kindness can save a life and impact somebody's future.
Every step I take today is a step forward, no matter how small. Every action I take today builds a better tomorrow. My struggles are mere stepping stones leading me to greater heights. That is why I try to make progress every day. Consistency is key.
This scholarship opportunity would greatly contribute to my long-term goals. I love going outside and soaking in the sun, but UV rays damage the skin and excite melanin cells, increasing the risk of skin cancer. Sunscreens are not as beneficial as they seem either. Many contain harmful chemicals which also affect the skin over time. As people age, they look for lotions and serums to make themselves look younger. They look for natural products. They look for good dermatologists to take care of their skin. That is who I want to be. I want to contribute to making people look and feel young again, and help the younger generation find products that keep them young. I want to further my education to become a dermatologist. Not only does it suit my interests, but it is also a fulfilling job where, at the end of the day, I can make somebody happy. This is why I am applying for the scholarship. Any amount of financial giving will drastically help me on my journey to success. I believe I can make an impact in the medical community and an impact on the physical and mental well-being of many people.
Success is a journey. It is not a simple flight of stairs. I may encounter an escalator or broken elevator, but regardless, I am taking steps toward success and making sure I can be the best person I can be. Thank you.
