Hello, my name is Wendy Sanchez. I am a 25 year old first- generation college student pursuing my career in Radiology. I am currently attending Loma Linda University for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I have always aspired to pursue a career in the medical field and it is a huge accomplishment to be currently living out that goal. I plan to receive my bachelor’s degree in Sonography and work in local low-income communities. I am a huge advocate for patient care and the importance to show respect and compassion in the medical field. We help patients through their most vulnerable moments which is why we need to leave a positive impact on that. It is rewarding being the support they need. I love being apart of the frontline to aid in detecting and supporting diagnosis and treatments for patients.
