Bio

My main life goal is to become a doctor. I am interested in the healthcare field because I want to help people who have suffered challenges regarding their health and their life, just like I have. I have grown up with life-threatening food allergies, and paired with asthma isn’t the most incredible combo. One area that I am passionate about is learning about allergies and immunology. As I said before, I have grown up with allergies my whole life, which has been the most complex challenge I have faced and will continue to face. I have had to advocate for myself to adults who didn’t understand the severity of allergies. I still fear facing the inequity and challenge that allergies create for me. I want to create a safe environment for people and advocate for them as I have done for myself.
