I currently attend the University of Mount Saint Vincent, where I am on the women's soccer team and actively pursuing a degree in Biology, where I can hopefully go into the medical field and help others, like my physical therapist, surgeons, physician assistant, nurses, and so many others have helped me.

I was always taught that meaningful impact doesn't require grand gestures-- it grows from consistency, empathy, adn a willingness to step forward when something needs to be done. Throughout my time at school, I've tried to embody those values both inside and outside the classroom.
Academically, I challenge myself to stay curious and engaged, but what matters most to me is how learning can be shared. I often seek help when not understand and usually have an informal study group to make sure success in the classroom comes first.
Beyond the classroom, I am a part of my school's soccer team, where, despite the last year, where i couldnt plat due to some medical reasons. I still managed to be a part of the team at each practice and game, supporting my teammates regardless of what was going on. I had a lot going on, which allowed me to have a new sense of appreciation and have a new outlook on life.
This is why I decided to volunteer and give back. Since I was given a second chance at life, I wanted to help out in whatever manner I could. I volunteer with my church, whether that's with the kids ministry or on a mission trip.
I also used to work in the Hospital back home, UNMH, where I would work twelve hours, and my job was as a patient aid. I watched others who had wanted to commit suicide, and often guided them to have different ways of thinking and talking them down when angry, as well as talking to family members to try to help them through such a difficult time.
Due to all of that, I have learned to count my blessings and had effort to build stronger communities and deeper connections, as well as strive for overall success.
I am very people-oriented and have always tended to want to help others in any way possible.
My ideal for the future is to start a non-profit for suicide awareness since I lost my best friend to suicide back in 2022, and then proceed to work in the medical field, either as a physician assistant or something along those lines. Overall, my goal in life is to help others. I plan to figure out how to do that to the best of my ability. That's actually why I am applying for a lot of scholarships. My parents, especially my mom, have helped me out in so many ways, especially financially, and she says it's not a problem, but I want to relieve any additional stress I can. I know money is a big one.
That's a bit about me, very chaotically written, but that's the real me, and I wanted to be as transparent as possible.
