I am currently taking life step-by-step and receiving scholarships for college will help a tremendous amount. I am from a low income and minority family. Although there are limitations, I will make sure to reach for the stars in my situation and keep looking forward. I am currently interested in studying chemical engineering in college because I want to leave an impact on my community and I find it interesting how those in the chemical engineering field impact the society around them with their actions. Chemical engineering is the foundation of a society and what goes on in the industry will have impacts on their surroundings. I want to be able to leave a mark on the world and do great things to help my community.
