I hope to further my education in college with a major in Engineering, and use my skills from there to pursue a career in robotics. I love everything to do with the STEM field, and I know that I would love the opportunity to make a difference as a woman in this career path for our society. I am a very creative and passionate person, and I have been involved in the dramatic arts for years. I love everything about it, and having the opportunity to perform and grow as an artist alongside some of my favorite people has been amazing. I would love to live and work in New York or Florida one day, both of which have been very present in my life.

My life would be nothing without art and music. I love everything about music and singing, and I would genuinely be an incomplete person without it. Since I was 11, I have participated in some sort of dramatic arts program, whether that be singing or acting lessons or performing in shows. Thorough all of this I have met and gotten close with some absolutely amazing people who have helped me grow in ways that I could have never imagined. I even wrote about how theater has helped me with my self-confidence and anxiety in my college essay. Choosing to be involved in the arts and music was a choice I would absolutely take again, and I wish more people would do the same. I have not just learned about the arts through my artistic journey, I have learned what it means to be a good human being for myself and for others.
My main creative outlet comes through musical theater. I have performed in over 20 shows in the last 6 years and I would not take back a moment of any of it. Many of these shows have taught me valuable life lessons, either through the mentors and directors who lead me through it, or through the content of the show itself. Doing theater and singing has given be the freedom to express myself, to lay it all out on that stage. Not only this, but it has also opened other doors for me outside of the dramatic arts community. Behind the scenes, I have taken part in several opportunities such as mentoring younger students and aspiring actors, teaching acting and improv classes to children, and volunteering within the arts.
In the future, I would like to go to college for Engineering, and use my creativity to develop projects that will benefit as many people as possible, hopefully within the field of Robotics and Computer Science. Although I will not be attending university for the arts, I do plan on pursuing a minor in theater studies or vocal performance, in order to keep my passion alive and to continue to have an outlet in which to pursue my creativity. I myself am originally from New York, and I would also love nothing more than to live in NYC one day, where I can be surrounded by likeminded individuals and artists who share my love for drama and who dream as big as I do. I believe that our dreams come from a place of love, and without my love for theater, I would not have dared to dream anything at all.
