My life goals are to be the best teacher I can be when college is said and done. Teaching children is something I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled to almost be done with college. I am in my 3rd year.
I feel I would be the perfect candidate for these scholarships being offered because I have worked so hard to get to where I am in my college career, and will continue to do so.
I have a 3.0 GPA right now, and working on getting my GPA up a bit more as well. My education means everything to me. It is getting me a step closer to where I want to be in life and I am so close!
I am so thankful and so grateful for those who even take the time to review my profile and consider me!
I am 25 years old with my first child on the way. I am doing what I can to make sure my little family has a bright future!

My dog's name is Chevy! He is part Shar Pei, Pitbull, and Black Lab. I got Chevy about Two years ago. I saw a post on Facebook saying he was going to go to the pound if no one wanted him. So of course, I jumped right on that post and commented. The people who had Chevy brought him to my house and he has been with me since. He is the light of my life and is so spoiled. He was abused by the people I got him from, but he's doing amazing now!
Simple Studies Scholarship
I have decided to further my education and go to college. I really want to make a difference in other people's lives. But at the same time, I love working with children. So I've decided, what better way to do both than to become a teacher. I'd be helping in so many ways while also helping the children with their learning.
I am so happy with how things are going for me so far. Joining a college has by far been the best step for me. Especially to get my Bachelor's degree. When I think of the difference I can make in someone else's life, it makes all the years of schooling worth it. 4 years is quite a bit of time, but I am completely ready to do this more focused than ever.
Teaching is something I have always loved to do. I've never taught anyone at a school, but I used to play school when I was younger! I was the teacher of course! I loved that I was able to have my own classroom full of students and help them learn. This is what really sparked my interest in becoming a teacher at a young age.
When I look back at when I was actually still in school, I wished I was the teacher. I always enjoyed passing out papers to the classmates and helping the teacher out every chance I got to. It was something I loved to do. My schoolwork wasn't always easy, but I got it done. And I am so very thankful that I am to the point I am at right now.
If it wasn't for my family pushing me so hard to get my homework done, I would have struggled a lot. I have an amazing support system. My family and friends are the people that cheer me on every step I take with furthering my education. I am also proud of myself. 5 years ago I would have never pictured myself actually going to college. I didn't know where to start, what to do, or who to talk to about it. Then one day, I got ahold of a friend and we did it together. She walked me through signing up, and here I am. Still going strong.
I spend countless hours preparing myself for school. I make sure I am ready to face whatever may come my way. At the end of the day, I know I will do amazing. Also, when all of this is said and done, and I have my bachelor's degree finished, I will finally be able to say, "I DID IT"! It will be such a great feeling. And then I'll be able to teach young children like I've always dreamed of doing. I am so excited about what my future has to hold. And with that being said, I am very thankful to all the people who have helped me get to where I am at today. College is going to be great.
