Vershawn is a first-year medical student at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he also completed the Drexel Pathway to Medical School (DPMS) program and earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Vershawn is also a notable graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and certificates in both Global Health and Environmental Studies. As Vershawn is passionate about promoting health advocacy and mitigating health inequities, he aspires to become a physician who will improve access to primary care across medically underserved communities.
