I just turned 37 and I have been wanting to get my bachelors degree. I have decided to get my degree in Healthcare administration. I am currently working for a vascular clinic and I feel I have made a big change in the business and would like to continue with this role as possibly a manager. I am a wife and a mom to a 7 year old son.

Paybotic Women in Finance and Technology Scholarship
The female who has inspired me the most is my friend Carrie who has her own business in accounting. She received her bachelor’s degree at a young age and brought herself up. She works hard every day and is constantly willing to help anyone with anything that is needed. She inspires me because she started her own business, she runs it herself and continues to help others with their businesses. She will give you tips or tricks on how to make your business more successful.
I plan on becoming a leader by completing my bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. By doing this, more doors will open for me. I will apply to other higher positions and in hopes to help manage a healthcare related business such as a hospital or clinic. My hopes are to help coordinate and run the business as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

I tend to put myself last in a lot of things. Not only education, but my time to myself, my hobbies, and goals. I have been putting my education goals on hold for a while due to getting married and having a child. He is now 7 and I have been able to go back to school online which is fantastic for working parents.
In 2012 my husband, fiancé at the time, went back to school to become a teacher, I stayed home and worked. We had a long-distance relationship for a few years. During that time, we got married and I became pregnant a year later in 2014. My life has been put on hold until now. Marriage and children can be quite challenging. With my son now 7 and we aren't planning on having any more kids, my husband and I have decided that I can comfortably go back to school online. I found a program at University of Arizona Global campus that is geared towards working parents. I will take one class at a time every 6 weeks. My current goal is Bachelor of Healthcare Administration.
Currently am a receptionist for a vascular clinic. My bachelor’s degree will help me get a higher paying job either within the company or I will be looking outside of the company whatever comes available. My husband doesn't make very much being a teacher. We didn't think of that when he decided to go back to school. Without a bachelor’s degree I feel I am limited and stuck in the same position I have been doing for the last 16 years. I have put my life on hold for my family which is ok but it's now time for me to not only bring higher income but also the confidence to succeed in a higher position.

I am a artist myself. I am always trying to better myself and trying new things. One of the biggest influencers for me is Bob Ross. I always watch his painting bio and is memorized by his painting techniques and paintings. I one day decided to try to follow along and made a painting with him. One of the most learning experiences I've ever had, besides taking in person classes.
