I grew up in a military family, moving six times before I was twelve, San Diego, Hawaii, Washington State, and finally settling in Livermore, CA. That childhood taught me to adapt fast, build connections quickly, and find home within myself. It also taught me to notice people: the new kid, the quiet one, the one who seems fine but isn't. That awareness became one of my greatest strengths. I want to study psychology with the goal of becoming a forensic psychologist. I'm drawn to understanding how trauma shapes behavior and how healing is possible after significant pain. It's not just a career, it's a calling. I want to help people find their voice and feel seen. I'm passionate about cheerleading and stunt (varsity level), wellness (I work at a yoga studio), and showing up for the people I love. I've had a front row seat to what real strength looks like (quiet, consistent, and unshakeable) and that has shaped everything about who I am. My GPA is above 4.0, but my life makes me a strong candidate as much as my grades do. I navigated a new city during COVID in middle school with no friend group, and built one. I've held a job, competed varsity, and stayed present for my family and friends through all of it. Scholarships aren't just helpful for me, they are the path forward. I'm motivated, resilient, and I've already proven I can work for what I want even when circumstances made that harder than it should be. I will not waste this opportunity.
