Hello! My name is veronica, I come from a big family and have always loved working with kids. Growing up, I had experienced and overcome a great deal of adversity. However, I refuse to let the weight of the past impede my abilities and ambition to achieve my goals and pursue a greater future. I've discovered meaning and fulfillment in giving back to my community. Working with those who are struggling gave me the opportunity to pursue my love for assisting others and provided an immediate sense of direction.T his serves as one of the factors why I am studying Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, and have decided to pursue a career in medicine. I've always valued serving others. I identified my genuine passion in interacting with children through significant volunteer work in a variety of settings. This influences my desire to become a pediatrician. Your faith in my path and devotion to overcoming adversity enables me to pursue a future career in medicine that aligns to my deepest aspirations. I hope to serve as an example to other children who endured a difficult upbringing along with providing them access to high-quality healthcare in their community.
