Ethel Hayes Destigmatization of Mental Health Scholarship
Navigating through well being struggles has greatly influenced my ambitions and connections with others as well as my perspective of the world around me personally; it has molded my aspirations by instilling a deeper appreciation for mental wellness and self care practices within me.I have come to realize the significance of establishing objectives while giving priority to self nurturance. This insight enables me to strive for equilibrium, than flawlessness and recognize that setbacks are essential components of growth. When it comes to relationships and dealing with health challenges has helped me become more understanding and compassionate towards others. I've come to realize that everyone faces their struggles which has strengthened my connections, with people and improved my ability to listen attentively. It has also motivated me to reach out for help and share my experiences openly leading to more authentic and nurturing relationships. I've learned a lot about life recently. Realized how important mental well being is, amidst societal pressures that affect us deeply. This realization has inspired me to promote health awareness and create a more compassionate and supportive community. These experiences have molded me into someone who values kindness and strength while emphasizing the significance of discussing health openly and sensitively.
    GUTS- Olivia Rodrigo Fan Scholarship
One line which was more resonant for me out of so many is the one she sings in “Teenage Dream” of Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS: “They all say that it gets better, it gets better, but what if I don't?” Though the average teen may not be happy because of the overbearing and infuriating numerous doubts about the bright prospects of the teenage period, this one struck me as being rather encouraging. “Things will get better”. Plain and simple as it sounds, when you’re a teenager, or a pre-teen for that matter, such words sound like the most abstract concepts in the world because even time itself does not feel as though it would come to ones aid. Even though I now know it’s impossible for everything interwoven within the pressure to normalize, back then it was like, “I got to get this down. School, friends, and even the role I’m assuming.” Of always being lost or uncertain, not improving, that is something that I had to go through quite a bit. This lyric is really good at capturing how one may not be always exactly sure of oneself as a teenager. It is a good reminder of such emotions when hearing many people share that, indeed, a lot of people experience such emotions. Another lyrics was: “I’m the perfect all-American girl/All-American life, all-American right, and I’m all-American lie.” This lyric highlights the precarious balancing act that one has to perform during the adolescent phase of life; amidst these struggles of self and society, one still has to grow up. Adolescent period is a tricky phase when everything seems ideal and hence the pressure to look up to one’s standards or that of anybody else tends to be very high, be it behavioral, academic or otherwise. The line points out the gap between an ideal self portrayed among people and the real self in one’s inward parts. It speaks that assistive desire of laity, which accepts the truth and purpose of presenting outwardly, yet simultaneously expecting tension within, which gushes, “what about me?” This disagreement is one of the key aspects of aging; there are many growing adolescents at this period who want to balance what is real about them and the expectations of others. The lyric captures how one has to wear a smile and appear to be perfect on the outside while trying to grapple inwards with a lot of chaos and a wish not to conform to the imposed roles.
    LeBron James Fan Scholarship
They are lots of good football player but my opinion about lebron James is completely different LeBron James is noted as the best player in all of basketball, thanks to how he possesses so many skills. Scoring, passing, rebounding, defending, he commands all this capabilities and more which makes him a rounded player. The ability to maintain such performance within a period of over two decades is also amazing; as the majority of sportsmen tend to be up there for shorter durations than he has. LeBron does not just stop at those qualities, which are critical for an MVP, but he has those and more. He has the ability to make his teammates play better and most times win the matches from his teams. Apart from LeBron being physically capable of playing basketball competitively, his knowledge of the game is exceptional. He understands the game better than most; he knows how to execute even the most complicated plays and the strategies that underpin them and how to be calm when under intense pressure. What also sets LeBron apart is his ability to perform in clutch moments. He is among the best in, and be part of, the hardest situation in the sport, making that decisive shot or making the foul to win the game. All these features together are what have made Lebron James not just look upon as one of the best basketball players but possibly the greatest of all time. Over and above, LeBron James wins my admiration because he represents greatness in an inspiring level. It is the same dedication and the work ethic that makes me understand what it means to transcend one’s limits. When LeBron plays basked in his skill, intelligence, and passion one realizes that basketball is not just a game but rather, it is a creation. In addition to his skill, LeBron’s impact on society is also contributing factors to his respect. Full diagnosis apart from concentrating on his playing skills he can open community centres for disadvantaged children or advocate human rights issues. There is much respect for his leadership, strength and discipline, and respect for others; this goes tohim, not only as an athlete, but as a human being.
