Next year, my twin sister, my dad, and I will all be pursuing higher education simultaneously with my sister and I as undergraduates and my dad as he returns to school for his master’s degree. While this is an exciting time for our family, it also comes with financial stress. Despite these challenges, my parents have always instilled in me the importance of helping others, regardless of our circumstances. They’ve shown me that even when resources are limited, kindness and generosity have no bounds. Beyond these specific examples, I find joy in small, everyday acts of giving back. Whether it’s helping classmates with schoolwork, lending a hand to neighbors, or participating in community clean-up events, I try to make a positive impact wherever I can.
