My name is Tyler Gray. I am 37 years old and married with three children. I am currently employed as a Deputy Sheriff with Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and a Staff Seargent in the Alabama Army National Guard. I have been awarded for leadership, bravery, excellence, as well as actions in combat across both professions. As a Deputy Sheriff, I have distinguished myself in many ways, including being chosen for the SWAT team in less than three years and selected as a Vice and Narcotics detective in five. These positions are typically earned after decades, not years. In fact, almost my entire adult career path has been directed towards public service, and I have pursued it passionately to help people in need.
